We’re grateful to Limelight for previewing the debut performances of the Australian Guitar Quartet as part of Live at Yours’ ‘Live At The Great’ series.
Arriving at the Great Synagogue in February are the prestigious Australian Guitar Quartet, comprising famous brother-duo Leonard and Slava Grigoryan, alongside Andrew Blanch and Vladimir Gorbach. With a kaleidoscopic program spanning Baroque to Bossa and beyond, the group will kick off the 2023 series with a display of world-class virtuosity.
The program includes Bach’s ornate Brandenburg Concerto No 6, selections from Bizet’s Carmen Suite, Opals by Australian composer Phillip Houghton and a journey through Latin American composers including Piazzolla and Bellinati.
We can’t wait to share this exciting new ensemble with audiences.
